Meet The Team

Alex has been on staff as a pastor since May 2012. His responsibilities include oversight of multiple community groups and pastoral care and counseling. Alex and his wife Beth have five children and live in Virginia Beach. In his free time, Alex enjoys reading, following soccer & football, going for walks, biking, canoeing, and going to the beach with his family.

Greg serves as pastor at Redeemer, doing various things—including overseeing the staff, communication, and finances. Greg was born in Saginaw, MI, grew up in Traverse City, MI but resided for several years in Philadelphia, Northeast Wisconsin, and Chesapeake. Greg is a bi-vocational pastor and owns Grace at Work, a web development agency. Michelle and Greg reside in Great Bridge with their daughter Scarlette. In his free time, you can find Greg taking walks with his family around the neighborhood, spending time with his wife, enjoying his man cave, and cheering for sports teams from Philadelphia.

Charlie joined the staff of Redeemer in January of 2022 and serves as a pastor with an emphasis on student ministries. Charlie oversees multiple community groups and Redeemer Young Adult ministry. Charlie and his wife, Olivia have two boys and live in Chesapeake. In his free time, he surfs, golfs, plays guitar, and enjoys his library.

Ernie joined the pastoral team as a bi-vocational pastor in 2018. Ernie has been part of Redeemer Church since 2013. Ernie is a bi-vocation pastor and vocationally serves as the dean in the law school at Regent University. Ernie and his wife, Lindsay have two children and live in Chesapeake, VA. In his free time, Ernie loves playing with his kids, watching Philadelphia sports, playing games, and reading books.

Jason joined the pastoral team as a pastor in 2018 and has been a part of Redeemer Church since 2009. Jason is a bi-vocational pastor and works as an engineering manager at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Jason is married to Heather and they have four children and live in Virginia Beach. His family enjoys physical activity and eating meals together and Jason and Heather spend time watching their kids play field hockey and lacrosse.
